How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Three structure hints per flag. Each one adds dashed guides — where the divisions fall, where an emblem sits, how the proportions work — and never a colour or a name. They do not change your score, but the result and the share card note how many you took.

What actually differs

  • South Sudan adds blue and yellow, which Malawi does not have.
  • Malawi is three horizontal bands with an emblem; South Sudan is a triangle at the hoist over horizontal bands.
  • Malawi flies at 2:3 and South Sudan at 1:2, so side by side one looks longer than the other.
  • Even the shared colours are mixed differently: red (#CE1126 against #DA121A) and green (#339E35 against #078930).

How to keep them straight

Malawi: Lock in the order — black, red then green — from the top down. Say it out loud once and you will still have it tomorrow.

South Sudan: Kenya’s colours plus a blue Nile wedge and a single gold star.

The drawing scorer is built for exactly this: if you swap the colours of Malawi it will tell you which two you flipped, rather than just handing you a low number.
