Questions
How is my flag drawing scored?
Your drawing is normalised, blurred and compared with the real flag in LAB colour space. Colour accuracy is 70% of the score, layout 20% and fine detail 10% — so a tricolour with slightly uneven stripes still scores in the nineties, while the right colours in the wrong order does not.
Do I need to be good at drawing?
No. The scorer looks at where the colour blocks land, not at neat lines. Blocking in flat colour with the fill and rectangle tools beats careful shading every time.
When does the daily flag change?
At midnight UTC. Everyone in the world gets the same flag on the same day, and the schedule is fixed in advance so look-alike flags never land on consecutive days.
Do I need an account?
No. Your streak, best score and per-flag records are kept in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and there is nothing to sign up for.
Does sharing my score spoil the flag?
It cannot — the share card contains your score bars and streak, never the country name.
How many flags are there?
PlayVexle covers 194 flags, each with its own drawing page, colour reference and memory notes.
