How Memory Flash works
Daily and Practice test what you already know. Memory Flash tests something different: how much of a flag you can take in from one look. Three seconds is enough to register the big colour blocks; it is rarely enough for the emblem in the middle.
Getting better at it
- Read the layout first. Count the bands and note which direction they run before looking at anything else.
- Name the colours out loud. "Blue, yellow, red, left to right" survives in memory far longer than a picture does.
- Leave the emblem for last. It is worth ten percent of the score; the colour blocks are worth seventy.
- Drop to one second once you are scoring in the eighties. That is where the real training happens.
Prefer to take your time? Practice mode shows no flag at all — just the country name.
