How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Three structure hints per flag. Each one adds dashed guides — where the divisions fall, where an emblem sits, how the proportions work — and never a colour or a name. They do not change your score, but the result and the share card note how many you took.

What actually differs

  • Both flags use the same colours — black, white, green and red — so the difference is in the shades and the shape.
  • Jordan carries seven-pointed star; Sudan has nothing in the middle.
  • Even the shared colours are mixed differently: green (#007A3D against #007229) and red (#CE1126 against #D21034).

How to keep them straight

Jordan: Anchor on the biggest shape: a triangle at the hoist over horizontal bands in black, white, green and red. Everything else on the flag hangs off that.

Sudan: Anchor on the biggest shape: a triangle at the hoist over horizontal bands in red, white, black and green. Everything else on the flag hangs off that.

The drawing scorer is built for exactly this: if you swap the colours of Jordan it will tell you which two you flipped, rather than just handing you a low number.

Questions

What is the difference between the Jordan and Sudan flags?

Both flags use the same colours — black, white, green and red — so the difference is in the shades and the shape. Jordan carries seven-pointed star; Sudan has nothing in the middle. Even the shared colours are mixed differently: green (#007A3D against #007229) and red (#CE1126 against #D21034).

Which is which?

Anchor on the biggest shape: a triangle at the hoist over horizontal bands in black, white, green and red. Everything else on the flag hangs off that. And for the other one: anchor on the biggest shape: a triangle at the hoist over horizontal bands in red, white, black and green. Everything else on the flag hangs off that.

Are the Jordan and Sudan flags exactly the same?

No — Both flags use the same colours — black, white, green and red — so the difference is in the shades and the shape.
