How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Three structure hints per flag. Each one adds dashed guides — where the divisions fall, where an emblem sits, how the proportions work — and never a colour or a name. They do not change your score, but the result and the share card note how many you took.

How to draw the flag of Belarus

The flag of Belarus is two equal horizontal bands — red and green from top to bottom, with woven ornament. It flies at a ratio of 1:2.

The flag of Belarus — ratio 1:2

Step by step

  1. Start with the right shape. Belarus flies at 1:2 — for every 2 units of width the flag is 1 tall. Sketch that rectangle first; a flag drawn too square is the fastest way to lose layout points.
  2. Divide the height into two. Mark the halfway line before you fill anything in. Even bands matter more than neat edges — the scorer cares where the colour blocks sit.
  3. Band 1: red. Fill the first band from the top with red. Use the fill tool rather than shading — flat blocks score better than sketchy strokes.
  4. Band 2: green. Fill the second band from the top with green. Use the fill tool rather than shading — flat blocks score better than sketchy strokes.
  5. Finish with the woven ornament. Detail is the last ten percent of the score, so leave it until the colour blocks are down. Size and position count for more than drawing every line of it.
