How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Up to three outline hints per flag. Dashed guides gradually trace the flag's actual shapes, from main outlines to smaller details, without showing colours. Simple flags need fewer hints. Your score stays the same, and the result and share card note how many you used.

What you are drawing

The flag of Tanzania is bands running corner to corner in green, yellow, black and blue. It flies at a ratio of 2:3. On the PlayVexle difficulty scale it rates ★★☆☆☆ — a flag most people can reproduce closely on the first attempt.

How to score well on this one

  • Block in the largest area first — on this flag that is green — then work down to the smaller shapes. Layout is 20% of the score and it is judged on where the blocks sit, not how neat the edges are.
  • There is no emblem to draw here, so a clean, well-proportioned set of colour blocks can score in the nineties.
  • Draw it at 2:3. The canvas is already the right shape, so fill it edge to edge rather than leaving a border.
Stuck? Open a memory hint

Anchor on the biggest shape: bands running corner to corner in green, yellow, black and blue. Everything else on the flag hangs off that.
