How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Three structure hints per flag. Each one adds dashed guides — where the divisions fall, where an emblem sits, how the proportions work — and never a colour or a name. They do not change your score, but the result and the share card note how many you took.

What actually differs

  • Both flags use the same colours — white, blue and red — so the difference is in the shades and the shape.
  • Russia is three equal horizontal bands; Slovakia is three horizontal bands with an emblem.
  • Even the shared colours are mixed differently: blue (#0039A6 against #0B4EA2) and red (#D52B1E against #EE1C25).

How to keep them straight

Russia: It is the Dutch flag flipped: white first, red last.

Slovakia: Lock in the order — white, blue then red — from the top down. Say it out loud once and you will still have it tomorrow.

The drawing scorer is built for exactly this: if you swap the colours of Russia it will tell you which two you flipped, rather than just handing you a low number.

Questions

What is the difference between the Russia and Slovakia flags?

Both flags use the same colours — white, blue and red — so the difference is in the shades and the shape. Russia is three equal horizontal bands; Slovakia is three horizontal bands with an emblem. Which is which?

It is the Dutch flag flipped: white first, red last. And for the other one: lock in the order — white, blue then red — from the top down. Say it out loud once and you will still have it tomorrow.

Are the Russia and Slovakia flags exactly the same?

No. They use the same colour names, but the shades and the proportions differ: Russia is 2:3 and Slovakia is 2:3.
