How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Three structure hints per flag. Each one adds dashed guides — where the divisions fall, where an emblem sits, how the proportions work — and never a colour or a name. They do not change your score, but the result and the share card note how many you took.

What actually differs

  • Both flags use the same colours — orange, white and green — so the difference is in the shades and the shape.
  • Côte d'Ivoire flies at 2:3 and Ireland at 1:2, so side by side one looks longer than the other.
  • Even the shared colours are mixed differently: orange (#F77F00 against #FF883E) and green (#009E60 against #169B62).

How to keep them straight

Côte d'Ivoire: Ivory Coast starts with orange; Ireland ends with it.

Ireland: Green is at the hoist, orange at the fly. Ireland reads left to right; Côte d’Ivoire is its mirror.

The drawing scorer is built for exactly this: if you swap the colours of Côte d'Ivoire it will tell you which two you flipped, rather than just handing you a low number.
