How to play

You get a country name and a blank canvas — no reference image. Draw the flag from memory, then hit Reveal & Score.

How the score works

An uneven tricolour still scores in the nineties. The right colours in the wrong order does not.

Stuck? Take a hint

Three structure hints per flag. Each one adds dashed guides — where the divisions fall, where an emblem sits, how the proportions work — and never a colour or a name. They do not change your score, but the result and the share card note how many you took.

Ways to play

Build a flag in six guesses

A new build puzzle every day at midnight UTC. No drawing — pick the layout, then a colour for each band, and let the feedback narrow it down.

How Build mode works

Build is for the times you know a flag but cannot draw it. You are told the country; you reconstruct the flag from parts. First the layout — two or three bands, horizontal or vertical — then a colour for each band.

Each guess comes back marked three ways:

  • ✓ correct — that colour is in that exact band.
  • ↔ wrong position — the flag uses that colour, but not there.
  • ✕ not present — that colour is not on the flag at all.

Repeated colours are marked honestly. On a red-white-red flag, guessing red in both outer bands marks both correct, but guessing red three times leaves the third one grey — there are only two reds to find.

The 79 flags here are the ones built from even bands, and every answer was sampled from the flag artwork itself rather than transcribed by hand. Everything with a canton, a cross or a coat of arms lives in drawing practice instead.

Today's puzzle is the same for everyone and is saved as you go, so you can come back to a half-finished board. Once it is solved, Another flag deals unlimited free-play rounds that do not touch your record.
